Happy 2nd Birthday Jaylen!!!

I don't know how these pictures didn't stay put on my last post... maybe the fact that I had a tired one and a half year old climbing on my shoulders at the time is the reason... anyways, here are the last few that I meant to post!

Day 2 of the kindergarten: Remy is 5 going on 15!

Remy's first day of kindergarten!

Hard to believe that Remy is already 5 years old and just a few hours ago we brought him to his first day of kindergarten! He was so calm and collected, excited and ready. He told us that we could just let him take the bus, but humored us and allowed us to go into his class and take pictures of him. He lovingly gave us kisses and told us... 'you can go home now'... Such a big boy!!!! We cannot wait to se him at 3pm!!!

Clearly a bright day, neither of us could look at the camera!

August Fun!

My dining room is finally finished and the deck is almost completed! Here are a few pictures from Preston and Morgan's recent trip to Seattle. We were so blessed to have Preston's Mom Lisa join us for most of the week also! Bekah also started working at Panera - 16 years old and starting her first job! Great job little sis, we are all very proud of you!

We spent much of our time with Preston, competing in someway or another. Preston's only victory of the day was against me in lawn golf so since I beat him in bowling on our Ocean Shores trip... I didn't mind the loss! Couldn't resist posting this picture with Preston eating his shirt and Morgan demonstrating perfect form...

Papa Gary treated us all to an afternoon Mariner's game, Thanks Papa! You and Arianna look so focused on the game!

One day at a time!

Since the work is being done mostly by Edward and my brother Joel and both of them have opposite work schedules, there is roughly 2-4 hours of work a day being put into the deck. It is coming along slowly but beautifully. Here is today's picture!

Scott and Melinda gifted their table to us so we gave away our china cabinet and painted the adjacent wall green to match the rest of the kitchen! I am also going to put a vinal quote on the wall above the table

I also painted the oak fireplace and the black frame both white to contrast the newly painted green wall... so fresh!

Remy turns 5!

Our little boy is growing up too fast! We had a great time celebrating his 5th birthday with family and friends this weekend. Unfortunately after a lot of yard work, the weather did not hold up and we were forced to stay inside... where are you summer? We are ready for you! Rem is definitely ready to break out the slip and slide!!
