Summer FUN...

This has been a fantastic summer all around! We have enjoyed the sunshine at local water parks, beaches, softball games and bbqs!
Remy's cousins, Darrien and Ranelle were here from Montana for the summer and we were able to spend most of our fun outings with them! Here they are next to Samantha, Alexys, Riley and Rem!

Even the little ones love being out at the park!

Here is a picture of Rem and his cousins Riley and Braeden at the same park!!

We were also able to travel to Las Vegas to celebrate quite a few special birthdays! Morgan and Brittany turned 21 and Noah turned 5! We spent a week playing with Momo, her boyfriend Preston and their newly adopted St. Bernard, Sebastian!

Ken, Brittany and Sheila came up from Texas, it was SOOO good to see them!

Here we are on the plane!!

Our entertaining life

So Remy is at the stage where he is either terrorizing me with non-stop negotiations, defiance or pure indifference to my directives... or he is absolutely making me laugh so hard I almost pee
myself.

Yesterday while our car was getting a new battery at Sears, we entered the store and had to walk through the exercise equipment area. He promptly jumped up and started swinging and jumping amidst all of the treadmills ignoring my pleas to continue walking next to me:)

I took him off of the machines and tried to explain that I was concerned for his safety with such big machines. He said in response, "will they kill me?". I said that he could get really badly hurt if he does not listen... and yes in an attempt to scare him into being a bit more respectful of the various machines, I said "yes you could die if you were to fall off of them or get stuck"...

His response was so funny I couldn't hardly keep the smile off my face. He said (beaming a huge smile) "If I die, it will be so cool, Jesus will give me my wings and I will fly like a super hero!"

That is my daily life, disobedience combined with pure genius comedy!

That being said, I have purchased the book "The Happiest Toddler on the Block" in an attempt to preserve my sanity.

Arianna is thoroughly entertained by Remington!! She laughs at him all day.

She is getting huge! At her 4 month appt she weighed more than 80% of infants and was taller than 75% of them! She is super happy and well adjusted, she can even sleep through SOME of Remy's noise!! Here are some pictures of the two of them!
