6 month picture

Here I am with a rapidly growing belly!!! My little man is keeping busy in there- growing and moving! I am starting to get a bit more hungry but otherwise I am feeling normal. My belly does get in the way sometimes when I am trying to bend over! I am loving my yoga class and I am looking into water aerobics also. Edward makes sure to talk to our little guy and I can feel him respond but most of the movements are sparatic and Edward hasn't been able to feel him move. I am sure he will be able to soon though! We are starting to do a little bit of preparing. I started our registry and have begun designing the nursery. We are getting closer to selecting a name but I will keep you all guessing for right now! I will write more soon!!

Baby Pictures

Here is what you have all been waiting for!!!! Pictures of our little one. These pictures are from 20 weeks. Now we are at 22 weeks so he has already grown a bunch! He is a such a mover- these are within moments of eachother and he is completely turned over. I can also feel him now!! It has been one week that I have been certain that what I am feeling is him.

5 month picture

Here is our 5 month picture!!!! Our ultrasound says baby boy is right on schedule with his measurements. He is about 10 or 11 inches right now and starting to put on a bit more weight, probably around 11 oz. As soon as my little sister's teach me how to use the scanner, I will put the newest ultrasound pictures on here. Oh- man he is soooooo cute!!!!! I can't wait for you all to see him! This 2nd trimester is a blast, I feel great and other than a rapidly growing belly, I don't feel pregnant at all. I still haven't felt him move but from the ultrasounds- we know he is quite the mover! Stay tuned for the ultrasound pictures....

IT'S A BOY

We haven't had a chance to get a hold of everyone yet but I am going to spill the beans here and now. We are having a baby boy!!! We had a quick ultrasound yesterday and we have a few pictures- very obvious- that I will post this weekend when I can scan them. We do have our actual scheduled ultrasound on Feb 8th and we will have even better pictures... so keep checking!!!

4 month picture

Here is a picture of the growing belly, 4 months now! I will try to take a picture each month.

BOY or GIRL, we will know soon!

We have learned that at the end of this month we will have the ultrasound to determine the sex of the baby!!!!! Pregnancy seems uneventful at this stage, I feel totally normal (with the exception of a sore lower back). And aside from a growing belly there are no other indications that something is going on in there. I am excited to feel the baby move- soon! It is nice to be able to do housework, have energy, and not gag at the smell or sight of everything! I will have Edward take a picture of the growing belly to post this week. We will post better pictures from the next ultrasound at the end of the month!!!!

Ultrasound Pictures

Well, although these are not the best pictures, the experience was amazing. Our little bean moved its hands and feet during the ultra sound and has grown quickly since our last visit. All is well and our due date is June 23rd!

JUNE DUE DATE

For those who were wondering, I didn't forget to mention the due date last post, the doctor just wasn't very specific. He said probably the end of June but he would give me a day @ our next apt on Nov 23rd. I have officially started enjoying morning sickness, and fortunately all of the suggested remedies have been extremely helpful in getting me through the work day. Edward is doing a great job of ensuring my comfort and putting up with my early to bed routine! He has been faithful in reading out loud to me what I should be experiencing and what our baby is doing in there! We love looking at the pictures of what is developing each week, our little one now has fingers and toes!!!

1st Doctor's Appointment

Well, we went to the doctor's yesterday and got to see our little bean. I am going to wait until our next visit (nov 23rd) to post the ultrasound pictures because there is very little to see on this one. Our little peanut looks like a tiny, well, peanut! We did enjoy seeing the heart beat and getting all the information and we had a great anniversary- even though the look and smell of food makes me really sick. Needless to say our romantic dinner did not involve me eating! The tiredness has begun to fade, even though I am still going to bed at nine, I do have enough engergy to make it through the day, which is an improvement! Edward and I are already considering names & not agreeing on any! So if you have any suggestions, please let us know!

June Vacation

In early June we went to Reno/Lake Tahoe for one amazing week. We got sunburnt at the water park, relaxed in our timeshare, danced the night away in South Tahoe, had a great time on the dinner cruise and enjoyed visiting with Joel, Chrissy, Braeden and Riley shortly before they moved to Tucson. We spent a day taking in the beauty of the lake and the waterfalls and I thought Edward was going to fall in when recording the falls with the video camera. He was, for an instant, not afraid of heights. We look forward to our next vacation, hopefully before the little one pops out we can take some time to visit family, we are also hoping to buy a house before we have our new arrival. We will see...

Exciting news

For those of you who don't know yet, Edward and I are expecting our first child. To make it easier to share news and pictures, we have created this blog. Our first doctors appointment will be this Wednesday, November 2nd-Our wedding anniversary. We will find out then how far along I am and hopefully get to see our little one on the ultrasound monitor.
